This policy forms part of The Windy Tee Membership Terms & Conditions. By completing your membership application and making your first payment, you agree to the terms set out in this document. If you have any questions, please contact us at mark@thewindytee.co.nz.
Section 01
Access & Security
- The Primary Member Rule: Members must be physically present for the duration of any booking involving guests.
- Surveillance: CCTV may be in operation throughout the facility. Where CCTV is installed, appropriate signage will be displayed. Entry to the facility constitutes consent to be recorded for safety and facility protection purposes.
Section 02
Extended Hours Access
Foundation and Standard members may book bay time outside of Wild Kiwi's standard operating hours — including early morning sessions from 6:30am — subject to the conditions below. This is a courtesy arrangement made possible by our partnership with Wild Kiwi and must be treated as such.
Important: Wild Kiwi food and beverage service is not available during extended hours sessions. A member of the Wild Kiwi team is typically on-site from 6:00am for brewing operations and can ensure building access, but the kitchen and bar will not be open. Please plan accordingly.
| Earliest available start time | 6:30am |
| Minimum advance notice required | 72 hours |
| Who can book extended hours | Foundation & Standard members only |
| F&B during extended hours | Not available |
| Eligible tiers | F1, F2, S1, S2 |
How it works:
- Make your booking through the standard booking system at least 72 hours before your session
- The Windy Tee will notify Wild Kiwi of your booking so that building access and bay readiness can be arranged
- Arrive at your booked start time — do not arrive early, as Wild Kiwi staff may be engaged in brewing operations
- All standard facility rules apply in full during extended hours sessions
Beverages during extended hours:
As Wild Kiwi food and beverage service is not available, members may bring their own non-alcoholic beverages (water, coffee, sports drinks) for extended hours sessions only. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited at all times and under all circumstances, including extended hours.
Extended hours access is a member privilege, not a guaranteed service. The Windy Tee reserves the right to decline or cancel extended hours bookings where Wild Kiwi cannot accommodate the request with sufficient notice.
Section 03
Food, Beverage & Conduct
- The Wild Kiwi Partnership: The Windy Tee is proudly integrated with Wild Kiwi. Members and guests are actively encouraged to purchase food and beverages from the Wild Kiwi bar and bring them directly into the bays during standard operating hours.
- Strictly no outside food or alcohol: Outside food or alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises during standard operating hours. Outside non-alcoholic beverages are permitted during extended hours sessions only (see Section 2).
- Intoxication & safety: For the safety of our members and the protection of our Trackman technology, any member or guest showing signs of excessive intoxication will be required to leave immediately. Use of the simulators while heavily intoxicated is strictly prohibited. Breach of this policy may result in immediate membership termination.
Section 04
Equipment & Golf Balls
- Club use: House clubs are included with all bay bookings. If you choose to bring your own clubs, ensure club faces are entirely clean before play to protect the screens and sensors.
- Golf balls: House balls are provided in every bay. If you choose to use your own golf balls, they must be perfectly clean and completely free of scuffs, cuts, dirt, or permanent marker. Damaged or marked balls can cause significant damage to the impact screens and simulator sensors. Members will be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of non-compliant balls.
- The swing zone: Only one person is permitted in the green turf swing zone at any time.
- Unstaffed sessions: All rental equipment is securely stored outside of staffed hours. Members booking unstaffed sessions must bring their own clubs and balls.
Section 05
Facility Care & Respect
- Bay condition: Our team works hard to ensure your bay is perfectly reset for every session. If anything looks out of place, damaged, or needs clearing when you arrive, please let our staff know immediately.
- Respecting the technology: We use world-class Trackman technology. While normal wear and tear is expected, any reckless or intentional damage to the impact screens, sensors, or venue property will be the financial responsibility of the primary account holder.
Section 06
Executive Bay Usage
- Premium hospitality: Our 6-metre Executive Bays are designed for high-end corporate hosting and relaxed social events. Our team handles all table clearing and furniture resets during and after your session.
- Professional environment: All standard venue rules apply in full within the Executive Bays. The entire facility is strictly a non-smoking and non-vaping environment.
- Personal belongings: Please check the lounge area for any personal items, tech, or charging cables before the end of your booking. The Windy Tee accepts no liability for personal property left on the premises.
