Section 01

About Your Membership

Memberships are offered by The Windy Tee Limited and grant the named member access to our golf simulator bays at Brewtown, Blenheim Street, Maidstone, Upper Hutt, Wellington, in accordance with the tier selected at the time of sign-up.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Only the named member may use the membership to access the facility. The named member must be present in the bay for the full duration of any session booked under their membership.

We offer the following membership tiers:

Section 02

Foundation 100 Memberships

Foundation 100 memberships are strictly limited to the first 100 members. The Foundation 100 closes permanently at 100 paid members or at Launch Night (29 August 2026), whichever comes first. Once closed, Foundation pricing will not be offered again under any circumstances.

Foundation members (F1 and F2) are guaranteed their membership rate for a period of three years from Launch Night, 29 August 2026. This rate guarantee applies provided the membership remains active and in good standing throughout that period.

The rate guarantee is forfeited if a Foundation membership is cancelled and subsequently reinstated. Reinstated memberships will be offered at the current Standard rate at the time of reinstatement.

The rate guarantee covers the base membership fee only. Any additional charges such as guest fees, league season entry fees, or executive club hire are not subject to the guarantee and may be adjusted from time to time.

Section 03

Minimum Term & Billing

All memberships carry a minimum term of three months from the date of the first payment. You may not cancel your membership during this initial period except in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of The Windy Tee Limited.

Following the minimum term, your membership continues on a rolling basis and may be cancelled at any time with 14 days' written notice to mark@thewindytee.co.nz.

Billing is available on a weekly or fortnightly basis. You will select your preferred billing frequency at sign-up. Billing is managed through our booking and membership platform. By signing up you authorise recurring payments at the frequency selected.

Payments are due on the scheduled billing date. If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again within 3 days. If the second attempt also fails, your membership may be suspended until payment is received.

Section 04

Sessions & Bookings

Each session is 55 minutes in duration. Sessions should be booked in advance through our online booking system. Walk-in availability for members is not guaranteed.

Members may hold a maximum of 2 active future bookings at any time. Additional bookings may be made once a booked session has been completed.

Session allocations reset on a rolling monthly basis from your membership join date. For example, if you joined on the 15th, your allocation resets on the 15th of each month. Unused sessions expire at the end of each monthly cycle and do not carry over. No refund or credit is provided for unused sessions.

Sessions may be booked back-to-back for extended play within the same bay. The 5-minute transition buffer between sessions applies only when a bay changes hands between different groups.

Extended Hours (Foundation and Standard members only): Bays may be booked from 6:30am with a minimum of 72 hours' advance notice. Extended hours availability is subject to staffing and may be withdrawn or modified at any time. Food and beverage service is not available during extended hours sessions.

Section 05

Cancellations & No-Shows

12-hour cancellation policy: Sessions must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Late cancellations and no-shows will result in the session being permanently deducted from the member's monthly allocation. No refund or credit will be provided.

To cancel a booking, use the online booking system or contact us at mark@thewindytee.co.nz. Cancellations received less than 12 hours before the session start time will not be accepted and the session will be forfeited.

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in booking privileges being restricted or membership being reviewed.

Section 06

Guest Policy

For the purpose of this section, “guest” or “guests” refers to playing guests only — those participating in simulator play. Non-playing visitors are welcome in the bays and are not subject to guest limits.

Members may bring playing guests to their booked sessions subject to the following limits:

Peak hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Off-peak hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The named member is responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guests at all times. Any damage caused by a guest is the financial responsibility of the member.

A maximum of 6 players per bay applies at all times regardless of membership tier.

Section 07

Equipment & Care of Facility

House clubs and balls are provided for use during all sessions at no additional charge. Executive club hire is available at $20 per session.

Members and their guests are expected to treat all equipment and the facility with reasonable care. This includes:

Liability for damage: Where equipment, fixtures, or fittings are damaged as a result of misuse, negligence, or conduct that falls outside the normal and reasonable use of the facility, the member will be held liable for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement. The Windy Tee Limited will provide written notice of any such claim and a reasonable opportunity to respond before any recovery action is taken.

Normal wear and tear in the course of reasonable use is not considered misuse and will not be charged to members.

Section 08

Code of Conduct

Members and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of staff, other members, and the facility at all times. The following are strictly prohibited:

The Windy Tee Limited reserves the right to ask any person to leave the facility if their conduct is deemed unacceptable. In serious cases, membership may be suspended or terminated without refund.

Section 09

League Participation

Tuesday night league sessions are open to members and non-members subject to available places. Participation in a competitive league season requires payment of a season entry fee, which is charged separately to your membership fee.

Current season entry fees are:

Season entry fees are non-refundable once the season has commenced. If a member withdraws before the season begins, a credit may be offered at the discretion of The Windy Tee Limited.

League nights run from 7:00pm and players are expected to be ready to play at their allocated time. Late arrivals may forfeit their slot.

Section 10

Suspension & Termination

The Windy Tee Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership in the following circumstances:

Where a membership is terminated by The Windy Tee Limited due to a breach, no refund of fees paid will be provided. Where a membership is suspended due to a payment failure, access will be restored upon receipt of the outstanding amount.

Section 11

Changes to Membership Rates & Terms

The Windy Tee Limited may update Standard membership rates and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any changes to rates or material changes to these terms.

Foundation members are exempt from rate increases for the duration of their 3-year rate guarantee period as set out in Section 02. All other aspects of these Terms and Conditions apply equally to Foundation members.

Continued use of your membership following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Section 12

Liability

Participation in golf simulator activities is at the member's own risk. The Windy Tee Limited takes reasonable steps to maintain the facility in a safe condition but accepts no liability for any personal injury sustained during normal use of the facility, except where such injury results from our negligence.

The Windy Tee Limited accepts no liability for the loss or damage of personal property brought onto the premises.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Section 13

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from your membership will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
